JAPAN, Nara, 2013
I spent this whole weekend in Tokyo. I have visited the city many times before and never had liked it. In there, people just keep overflowing from the corners and the alleys and that stresses me out. However, during this trip, my impression against the monster city has slightly changed. All of sudden, I started feeling some sort of unique atmosphere Tokyo People have. It is like each has a cellophane to cover them up preventing the surroundings from influencing them. People are really quiet and looking into smartphones. I felt as if they were phantoms roaming around the concrete-made jangle. And each of the habitats has a hollow in the heart.
This time, I do not know why but, Tokyo was something unnatural, uncanny, and nostalgic place. And you know what, I loved that.
